A character-driven anime movie which explores the great depths of dreams, promises and love and presents it with such good animation that almost every frame is as a beautiful work of art. – 4/5

A perfectly done action movie satire, complete with the odd story twists, a lot of guns, a lot of blood and exaggerated sound effects, a must see for any fan of action movies. – 5/5

A surprisingly fresh and entertaining action comedy movie that delivers more than you would expect, although it is in no way faultless and is obviously made with a sequel in mind. – 3/5

The Alchemist

A captivating and enchanting book by Paulo Coelho about finding yourself and your place in the world, one step at the time. – 5/5

Pride and Prejudice

A romantic book by Jane Austen about the dangers of pride and prejudices with the obligatory happily ever after, told in both a serious tone and an occasional entertaining tongue in cheek manner. – 4/5

Detroit Metal City

A pretty funny and wierd movie about realizing even if it doesn’t turn out the way you figured it would you may still be able to live and pursue your dreams. – 3/5

District 9

A solid movie where there always are something interesting happening, often something you didn’t expect, with it the downside that it therefore gets a little chaotic at some times. – 4/5

Bait

A mediocre and ordinary action comedy with the usual stereotypes. – 2/5

Juno

A cute movie with a nice sense of humour and a “rad” language, but unfortunately a little a bit bland. – 4/5

A book by Philip K. Dick about the source and root of identity that started interesting but sadly ended in total confusion. – 2/5
